Crane recounted that the AI agent was attempting to complete a routine task but mistakenly deleted a storage volume due to a lack of verification and understanding of the system's architecture. Despite the agent's errant actions, Crane attributed greater blame to the cloud provider's architecture, which allowed such destructive commands without confirmation.
