Google has entered a significant $30 billion agreement with SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk's xAI, to secure additional computing resources for its Gemini Enterprise AI initiative. Under the terms of the deal, Google will pay SpaceX $920 million per month for access to 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, and memory, starting this October and extending until June 2029. The agreement allows Google to meet surging demand for its AI subscription service. If SpaceX fails to provide the promised GPU access by September, Google may terminate the contract or accept a reduced payment rate. SpaceX is also contracted with Anthropic, which will pay $1.25 billion monthly through May 2029 for computing power. SpaceX plans to go public on June 12, aiming for a record-breaking IPO.
