The Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) revealed that major cybercriminals intended to leverage this vulnerability for a mass exploitation event, which would have compromised two-factor authentication on a specific open-source web-based system administration tool. Researchers noted that the exploit's Python script contained elements indicative of AI assistance, such as a fabricated CVSS score and a structured format resembling data from large language models (LLMs).
